Dr. Scott was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio.  He attended The University of Texas at Austin where he received his degree in Biology. While at UT, he was a 4-time NCAA All-American in the sport of springboard and platform diving. He received his MD degree from The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. He remained at UTMB where he completed his training in Pediatrics. He is board certified in the specialty of Pediatrics and a Fellow in the American Academy of Pediatrics

In 1987 Dr. Scott founded the Grapevine Pediatric Clinic, PA. to be the first exclusively pediatric practice in Grapevine. He is currently an active staff member of Baylor Scott & White Medical Center Grapevine where he served as the Chief of Pediatrics for 17 years.  Dr. Scott is also affiliated with Children’s Medical Center Dallas through the Children’s Health Care Network.

In his spare time, Dr. Scott enjoys woodworking, reading, gardening and scuba diving.  He has been married for over 37 years, has three grown daughters and one really awesome grandson.
